When a woman is traumatized in childhood she may appear to be more in her masculine energy than her feminine essence as an adult.
This is a very common thing we see nowadays and it is manifested and revealed in families, professions, relationship dynamics and daily interactions where the woman instead of being immersed into her intuitive, feminine, nurturing and surrendering qualities she instead chooses to take full control, be fully independent and very often react in masculine ways.
These masculine behaviors and traits are actually trauma responses and they are manifested through these signs:
Hyper vigilance
Hyper independence
Struggle in relationships with both men and women
Mood swings
Depression
Controlling behavior
Manipulative behavior
Anxiety and worry
Anger and/or rage
Physical health issues
This is actually the wounded feminine that appears more masculine than feminine in order to survive the triggered trauma. But this is not a solution to healing and neither is the authentic nature of women. This is a choice of coping with trauma and protect the feminine self from potential threat.
For the feminine to heal and bloom we need to heal from trauma, regain trust towards the masculine, surrender and allow the flow of life to take over instead if trying to control everything in order to avoid potential danger.
My Trauma-Informed Somatic Healing Package for Women is available in this link.
It addresses the imbalances that trauma creates and it guides women to reclaim their feminine authentic self.
